Sweden Dynamics platforms are designed to combine high flight performance with practical operational capability.
Flight performance
The airframes use special-developed carbon fibre structures combined with tuned electronics stacks to achieve high agility and durability.
Typical characteristics include:
- very high acceleration and control authority
- stable flight close to terrain and structures
- endurance significantly higher than typical FPV platforms
- robust handling under demanding flight conditions
For example, platforms in the Bertil class provide approximately 45+ minutes hover endurance, while maintaining high agility and payload capability.
Acceleration characteristics allow the platform to reach 0–200 km/h within seconds, enabling rapid repositioning and pursuit tasks.
Mission capability
The systems are designed to support multiple operational tasks using the same platform.
Typical missions include:
- rapid verification before committing personnel
- micro-ISR in complex environments
- route reconnaissance and chokepoint observation
- overwatch and custody of moving objects
- command support through live video feeds
In addition to observation, the platforms support functional tasks using payload release, enabling marking, placement and micro-delivery operations depending on mission requirements.
Operator focus
Systems are optimized for dismounted users and require minimal ground equipment.
Deployment typically involves:
- controller
- drone
- batteries
- optional mobile device for mission software
This allows rapid deployment in situations where time and mobility are critical.
